Andrew Saniga is an Associate Professor in Landscape Architecture, Planning and Urbanism at the Melbourne School of Design, University of Melbourne. His expertise spans post-World War II landscape architecture, with a focus on parks, gardens, infrastructure, and the history of the profession. He actively engages in teaching and research related to heritage landscape conservation and urban/regional infrastructure.
Research Directions: His work emphasizes the Architectural and Urban Past and Cultural and Sustainable Landscapes, particularly in post-Soviet public spaces and remote Australian towns like Woomera. Collaborative projects include international design studios in Lithuania and summer schools in China.
