Nancy Ji is a Lecturer in Architectural Design at the Melbourne School of Design, part of the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning at the University of Melbourne. She holds a registered architect license in Victoria and specializes in architecture and urbanism in Japan/Asia-Pacific, community-led design, socially engaged practices, rural revitalization, adaptive reuse, and sustainable cultural landscapes. Her doctoral research at Keio University (supported by the Monbukagakusho Scholarship) focused on adaptive reuse in contemporary Japanese architecture.
