Ji-Won Song is a Lecturer in Human Resource Management/Employment Relations at the Organisation Studies Group, University of Edinburgh Business School. She has held prior academic roles at the University of Greenwich (Lecturer), Stockholm School of Economics (Postdoctoral Fellow), and Korea Labour Institute (Research Associate).

Her research extends to policy reports for Korean government organizations like the Ministry of Employment and Labour.
