Jessy Frye

Jessy Frye, DNP, PMHNP-BC is an Assistant Professor and PMHNP Program Coordinator at the University of Alaska Anchorage School of Nursing. She earned her DNP from the University of Florida and is board-certified in psychiatric mental health nursing.

Her clinical background includes acute crisis stabilization, medication management, and psychotherapy for high-risk populations in correctional settings and private practice. Research focuses on interventions for children with incarcerated parents and ADHD management in rural communities.

Professional certifications include SAMHSA Buprenorphine Practitioner and Accelerated Resolution Therapy. She maintains memberships in the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties.
