Raymond Zakhari

Raymond Zakhari serves as a Clinical Professor at the Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing, City University of New York. A proud double alumnus of Hunter College (MS '03, PMHNP Advanced Certificate '14), Dr. Zakhari brings over two decades of diverse clinical experience from acute care to home care settings to his academic role.

Dr. Zakhari's research focuses on integrating technology, particularly artificial intelligence, to enhance nursing education and critical thinking skills. His clinical expertise spans Adult, Family, and Psychiatric-Mental Health domains, with notable service at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell where he developed specialized skills in treating psychiatric conditions across the lifespan, forensic examination, and acute care.
