Jessica Zoltani, MD (she/her/hers), is an Assistant Clinical Professor in Psychiatry at the Yale School of Medicine and Chief Medical Officer/Psychiatrist at the Wellspring Foundation. Her work focuses on adolescent substance use disorders, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and co-occurring psychiatric conditions. She holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania (2002), an MD from Jefferson Medical College (2012), and completed fellowships in Addiction Psychiatry (Yale, 2018) and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at McLean Hospital (2017).
Dr. Zoltani’s research emphasizes culturally informed approaches to personality disorders and innovative treatments for high-risk adolescent populations. She co-authored key publications on psychodynamic therapy for adolescents with substance use disorders (2025) and co-edited works on antisocial personality disorder’s sociocultural dimensions (2017, 2023). Her clinical work integrates behavioral health interventions with pharmacological approaches in ambulatory psychiatry settings.
Professional involvement includes leadership roles in the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry and Yale’s Medications for Opioid Use Disorder Signature Council. Her clinical practice emphasizes holistic care for patients with complex psychiatric and behavioral challenges.
