Aaron J. Roberto is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Yale Child Study Center within the Yale School of Medicine. He holds dual roles as a Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist in private practice and serves as Clinical/Adjunct Faculty at Yale. His academic roles include membership on AACAP committees and mentorship of trainees. Dr. Roberto completed his MD at St. George's University School of Medicine (2012), followed by psychiatry residency at New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center (2015), and fellowships in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School/Boston Children's Hospital (2017) and Addiction Psychiatry at Yale (2018).
His research focuses on substance use disorders, neuropsychiatric conditions, and psychopharmacology. Notable contributions include studies on synthetic cannabinoid-induced psychosis, default mode network dysfunction in disorders, and treatment approaches for catatonia. He has authored peer-reviewed articles in Case Reports in Psychiatry, The Yale Journal of Biology and Medicine, and Journal of Child and Adolescent Psychopharmacology.
