Jessica Taylor-Lewis is a Part-Time eCore Faculty member in the Department of History, Anthropology, and Philosophy at the University of North Georgia. She holds a B.A. in History from North Georgia College and State University (2006) and an M.A. in World History from East Tennessee State University (2009). Her research focuses on World History, the Middle East, and the Ottoman Empire, with a notable publication examining American media coverage of the Armenian Genocide.
She teaches courses such as World Civilization I/II and American History I/II. Taylor-Lewis is a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the national history honor society. Her academic roles include adjunct professorships at the University of North Georgia and prior instructor positions at East Tennessee State University. She is based at the Strickland Academic Building in Gainesville.
