Dr. Jessica Stokes-Parish is the Associate Dean of Student Affairs & Service Quality and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Bond University's Faculty of Health Sciences & Medicine. She leads the Translational Simulation Collaborative and oversees the Simulated Participant Program and Year 3 Curriculum. With a PhD in Medical Education from the University of Newcastle (2020), her expertise spans health professions education, gender equity, and science communication. She holds advanced qualifications including a Graduate Certificate in Science Communication (ANU, 2024) and a Master of Nursing Education (2011).
Her research focuses on simulation methodology, gender equity in healthcare, and science communication via social media. Current projects include authentic moulage standards, science communication for public education, and diversity in simulation workforces. She has supervised over 60 presentations/workshops and advises non-profits on D&I strategies.
