Dr. Jessica Helmi is a Senior Lecturer (Education Focused) in the Department of Management at RMIT University's City Campus. She holds a PhD in Marketing and specializes in nation branding, consumer behavior, and digital marketing. Her research focuses on stakeholder engagement with place brands, particularly through collaborations with the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade). Current projects include place brand architecture in city branding, marketing analytics, and AI integration. She has taught marketing subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels for over seven years, emphasizing practical industry projects and innovative teaching methods. Dr. Helmi is open to supervising Master’s and PhD students in her research areas.
Education: PhD in Marketing from RMIT University.
Research Interests: Nation branding, design thinking in branding, digital marketing strategies, and stakeholder engagement. Her work has been published in journals like the European Journal of Marketing and Journal of Strategic Marketing.
Teaching Responsibilities: Coordinates and lectures in Digital Entrepreneurship (BUSM2478), Integrated Perspective on Business Problems (BUSM2577/SIM BUSM2578), and RMIT Online MBA courses.
