Jessica Barber, Ph.D., is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine and serves as Associate Director of the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Measurement-Based Care (MBC) Initiative. Her work focuses on advancing MBC implementation in mental health care, particularly addressing disparities and clinician burnout. She holds clinical expertise in health psychology and has contributed to VA healthcare integration programs. Dr. Barber received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (Health Emphasis) from Yeshiva University.
Her research interests include optimizing MBC frameworks for diverse populations, improving outcomes through clinician-patient collaboration, and reducing healthcare disparities. She co-developed the 'Collect, Share, Act' model for MBC practice. Recent work emphasizes global applications of MBC and its role in enhancing mental health equity.
