Jeremy Till is a Professor of Architecture at the University of the Arts London, affiliated with Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts. His academic career includes roles as Pro Vice-Chancellor, Head of Central Saint Martins, and Dean at the University of Westminster. He holds a MA from the University of Cambridge and a Diploma in Architecture from the Polytechnic of Central London.
His research focuses on the social and political dimensions of architecture, climate breakdown, scarcity in design, and sustainable practices. Notable projects include the RIBA-awarded 9 Stock Orchard Street and the AHRC-funded 'Architecture after Architecture' exploring climate emergency responses. He has curated pavilions at Venice and Shenzhen Biennales.
Publications include Architecture Depends, Spatial Agency, and The Design of Scarcity. Awards include three RIBA President’s Awards for Research and the Shenzen Biennale Academic Committee Award. Till’s work bridges theory and practice, advocating for ethical and socially engaged spatial practices.
Grants include leadership in AHRC/DFG-funded studies on climate and scarcity. His writing addresses architecture’s role in societal challenges, with a focus on resilience and adaptation. Till is also a partner at Sarah Wigglesworth Architects.
