Dr. Jeremy Moulton is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of York since 2017. He specializes in climate action, political myth, EU studies, and pedagogical innovation. Previously, he taught at the University of Hull and the University of York’s Environment & Geography Department.
Education: He holds a PhD from the University of Hull (supervised by Prof. Rüdiger Wurzel and Prof. David Gibbs), titled 'A Tale of Two Cities: Climate Action and Political Myth in the European Union.'
Research Interests:
- Environmental Politics: Focuses on EU and China’s climate policies, urban ecological modernization, and renewable energy strategies.
- Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL): Explores pedagogical innovation, widening participation in higher education, and addressing achievement gaps. Recent projects include assessment optionality, student-led teaching innovation, and decolonizing curricula.
