Jeremy Howard

Jeremy Howard is a Senior Research Fellow and Head of the Department of History of Art at the University of Buckingham. He also serves as Tutor for Admissions for the BA in History of Art and Heritage Management and MA in Historic Arts and Decorative Interiors. Additionally, he is Head of Research at Colnaghi, a prestigious art dealership. His expertise spans British 18th- to early 20th-century art patronage, the Grand Tour, and the history of the London art market. Howard holds degrees from Oxford University and the Courtauld Institute of Art.

His research and publications focus on art market dynamics, including a notable edited volume commemorating Colnaghi's 250th anniversary. He previously worked in the London art market at Christie’s and Colnaghi, and taught at Birkbeck College, University of London.
