Ann Theriot is a Clinical Associate Professor of Interior Design in the Department of Human Sciences and Design at Baylor University, part of the Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences. She holds a MA in Decorative Arts and Historic Interiors from the University of Buckingham, London, and a degree in Interior Design from Baylor. With 15 years of professional experience in hospitality and residential design across international locations such as London and Mekkah, she brings real-world expertise into her teaching.
Her research focuses on the history of 18th-century British and French decorative arts and the intersection of human behavior with interior environments. She is deeply committed to student development, overseeing the Baylor internship program and directing the biennial European study abroad trip for interior design students.
Teaching areas include design history, business practices, space planning, and capstone studio. She integrates community-oriented and international engagement projects into her curriculum to enhance professional preparedness.
