Dr. Jenny Ratcliffe is a Research Fellow at the Research Centre for Peace and Security. Her work focuses on counter-terrorism strategic communication, political trust, and public policy. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy from May 2024, supervised by Prof. Rice, Dr. Nienaber, and Dr. Busher, examining post-Brexit communication and trust among political figures in Brussels.
Current projects include leading the 'Copy/paste won't do' project (2024–2027) addressing counter-disinformation campaigns for youth and contributing to IMITATE3, analyzing information threats. She has published widely on topics like fear in counter-terrorism communication and executive distrust in Northern Ireland.
Ratcliffe actively participates in academic conferences, including the Political Studies Association of Ireland and Society for Terrorism Research. Her research emphasizes practical frameworks like the STARS model for strategic communication challenges.
