Jenny Morgan

Jenny Morgan is Professor at Melbourne Law School, University of Melbourne, with expertise in criminal law, feminist jurisprudence, and violence against women. Her influential scholarship includes co-authoring 'The Hidden Gender of Law', a foundational feminist legal text.

Research examines homicide law reform (particularly provocation defenses), media representations of gender violence, and feminist critiques of legal institutions. She has contributed to Australian Law Reform Commission inquiries on equality and homicide reform.
