Jennifer Thibodeau

Jennifer Thibodeau, M.D., M.S.C.S., is a Professor in the Division of Cardiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where she serves as Medical Director of the Heart Failure Program and ECMO. Her clinical and research focus spans heart failure, left ventricular assist devices (LVADs), and cardiac transplantation. Board-certified in cardiovascular disease and advanced heart failure/transplant cardiology, she joined the faculty in 2011 and mentors medical students, residents, and fellows in heart-failure rotations.

Her work includes developing machine learning tools for post-transplant renal outcomes and analyzing discordance in patient-physician prognosis perceptions.
