Justin Grodin

Justin Grodin, M.D., M.P.H. serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center's School of Medicine and is a member of the Division of Cardiology. He holds the position of Medical Director for the Internal Medicine Clinical Trials Unit, focusing on translating research into clinical practice.

His educational background includes a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin, medical degree from UT Southwestern, internal medicine residency at UT Southwestern, and dual fellowships in cardiovascular disease and advanced heart failure/transplant cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic. He also earned a Master's in Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Dr. Grodin maintains active editorial roles as Associate Editor for Circulation, Section Editor for Current Heart Failure Reports, and Editorial Board member for Amyloid. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and serves as ad-hoc reviewer for numerous journals.

Professional leadership includes membership in the American College of Cardiology, Heart Failure Society of America, and International Society for Amyloidosis. His clinical practice emphasizes patient education and personalized treatment for complex cardiac conditions.
