Jennifer R. Panizzi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anatomy, Physiology and Pharmacology at Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine. She utilizes zebrafish models to study developmental genetics, ciliary biology, and environmental toxicity screening.
Education:

- PhD (2007), Vanderbilt University
Research Interests focus on:
- Molecular mechanisms of cilia motility and Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD)
- Developmental toxicity of environmental contaminants
- Drug screening for anti-inflammatory therapeutics targeting myeloperoxidase
Publications highlight her work on zebrafish gene expression, ciliary dysfunction in human diseases, environmental contaminant toxicity, and myeloperoxidase inhibition techniques.
