Heymut Omran

Univ.-Prof. Dr. med. Heymut Omran is a Professor and Chief Medical Director of the Department of General Pediatrics at the University Hospital Münster. His research focuses on cilia biology, developmental disorders, and genetic diseases such as Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD). He leads the 'Laboratory for Cilia Research' and has contributed to understanding ciliary motility, left-right axis development, and related congenital defects.
