Jennifer Murray

Jennifer Murray is a Senior Lecturer in Primary Professional Studies at St Mary’s University, where she focuses on reflective practice, contemporary issues in primary education, and wellbeing in teaching. She convenes master’s-level modules for PGCE Primary cohorts and coordinates student representative groups. Before joining St Mary’s in 2016, she earned a Master’s in Education from Murdoch University and held roles as a primary teacher, middle-level leader, ITE mentor, and educational consultant in UK and international schools. Her work emphasizes inclusion, intercultural understanding, and challenging unconscious bias.

Her research concentrates on teacher and learner wellbeing, with projects including collaborations with New York universities and studies on UK teacher wellbeing.
