Jemima Davey

Jemima Davey is a Senior Lecturer in Education and Interim Subject Lead for PGCE Secondary with QTS at St Mary's University. She teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate teacher education programs, including international collaborations. Her roles involve convening masters modules on PGCE QTS programs and leading the Carmel Teacher Training Partnership. She holds a BA in Primary Education, PGCert in Academic Practice, NPQ in Leading Teacher Development, and an MA in Education.

Her research focuses on professional learning, teacher identity, leadership, and mentoring in education. As a doctoral student at St Mary's University, she examines mentoring and supervision in teacher development. She actively contributes to the Centre for Wellbeing in Education and pedagogy research groups. Key areas include middle leadership, research-informed mentoring, and STEM education in primary sectors.

Jemima has presented at major conferences like BERA and UCET, with publications on topics like digital learning impacts, trainee teacher support, and curriculum sustainability. Her work emphasizes collaborative research and practical applications for educators.
