Dr. Jennifer Miles is an Instructor at the Center for Health Services Research within the Rutgers Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research, and the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She holds a PhD in Social Policy from Brandeis University’s Heller School for Social Policy and Management. Her research focuses on leveraging mixed-methods approaches—including primary surveys, qualitative data, and population-level administrative and health care claims data—to advance equitable uptake of evidence-based practices for individuals with substance use disorders. Her work has been supported by the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), and the Preparedness and Treatment Equity Coalition (PTEC).
