Dr. Jennifer Hasselgard-Rowe is a Research Fellow at the Global Health Centre, Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, and serves as Executive Coordinator of the Geneva Platform on Human Rights, Health and Psychoactive Substances. She holds a PhD from the University of Melbourne (2017) and dual degrees in Law and Arts from the Australian National University. Her expertise spans human rights law, international humanitarian law, and substance use policy, with a focus on harm reduction and evidence-based public health practices. She has conducted extensive research on detention policies for drug users, particularly in Cambodia, and contributes to global drug policy reform through collaborative initiatives like the Geneva Platform.
