Jennifer Gill

Dr Jennifer Gill is an Associate Director at the Medical Technology Research Group (MTRG) at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She holds a BSc in Pharmacology from the University of Aberdeen and a PhD in Genetics from the University of Edinburgh. Her expertise spans pharmacology, genetics, project management, health communication, public health policy, and chronic disease management. Prior to LSE, she worked as a Senior Postdoctoral Research Associate at University College London, focusing on academia-industry collaborations and knowledge transfer.

Her research interests include population ageing, cancer treatment, multiple sclerosis (MS), and medicines access. At LSE, she has collaborated with pharmaceutical companies to analyze real-world evidence in healthcare decision-making, external reference pricing, and global patient journeys in hepatocellular carcinoma. Notable projects include a landmark global survey on HCC patient experiences and studies on cardiovascular disease prevention and autism policy advocacy.

Her work bridges academic research and industry consultancy, emphasizing evidence-based policy and healthcare innovation. She has led projects for clients such as EFPIA, Sanofi, and F. Hoffmann-La Roche, addressing challenges in healthcare financing, virtual care systems, and personalized oncology access.
