Jennifer Begeal

Jennifer Begeal is a Part-time Assistant Professor at The New School's School of Media Studies, specializing in digital storytelling and cross-platform media strategy. She holds a BFA in Film Studies from SUNY Purchase and an MA in Media Studies from The New School. Her research focuses on immersive storytelling, media literacy, and leveraging new technologies for social impact.

Professionally, she has managed large-scale digital campaigns for clients like Universal Studios, Disney, Netflix, and A&E. She also teaches at Feirstein Graduate College of Cinema, Concordia College, and the International Center for Photography, focusing on interactive multimedia and producing for new media.

Begeal is affiliated with NYWIFT (New York Women in Film and Television) and NYWICI (New York Women in Communications). She regularly teaches courses such as Digital Storytelling, Storytelling Across Media, and Tech Workshops: Producing Podcasts at The New School.
