Deborah Mesa-Pelly

Deborah Mesa-Pelly is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Photography at Purchase College, SUNY, within the School of Art+Design. She was born in Havana, Cuba, and relocated to New York as a child.

Education:

Her research and artistic practice focus on contemporary photography, surrealist strategies, and visual storytelling. She explores intersections of time, lens-based media, and conceptual frameworks in her work.
