Katie Murray is an Assistant Professor of Photography at Purchase College, State University of New York, within the School of Art+Design. She holds a BFA from the School of Visual Arts and an MFA from Yale University School of Art. Her artistic practice focuses on photography and video art, exploring themes of contemporary visual storytelling and exhibition curation.
Previously, Murray served as adjunct faculty at institutions including Princeton University, Hunter College, and the International Center of Photography. Her work is exhibited globally, with solo/group shows at Fish Island Gallery, TOPS Gallery, and held in collections like The Museum of Modern Art Library Collection and Perez Art Museum.
