Jemima John is an Assistant Professor at the UTHealth Houston School of Public Health, specializing in the Department of Epidemiology. Her work focuses on addressing social determinants of health to reduce racial/ethnic disparities in food insecurity, physical activity, and chronic conditions.

- Founder of the 7-week Summer Intensive Fellowship Experience (SIFE), a student-informed graduate health equity training program under the Center for Health Equity
