Shreela Sharma

Dr. Shreela Sharma is a Professor and Vice-Chair of Epidemiology at the University of Texas School of Public Health in Houston, TX. She serves as Director of the Center for Health Equity Research and co-leads the Health Equity Collective, a systems-level initiative addressing food insecurity and social determinants of health in Greater Houston. As co-founder of the national non-profit Brighter Bites, she focuses on providing fresh produce and nutrition education to low-income families.
