Jemaine Stacey

Jemaine Stacey is an Early Career Fellow at the University of Leicester, affiliated with the Department of Psychology and Vision Sciences. He holds a PhD from Nottingham Trent University, where his research focused on the influence of visual speech on auditory perception. Prior roles include post-doctoral work at the University of Nottingham (2020) studying listening effort in hearing aid users and a three-year research fellowship at Nottingham Trent University investigating multisensory stimuli for older adults under Dr. Stephen Badham.

His research interests bridge auditory and visual speech processing, cognitive aging, and assistive technology applications. Current work continues to explore multisensory integration and its practical implications for older populations.
