Dr. Jeffrey Gershman is a Professor of Music and Director of Bands at The College of Wooster. He conducts the Scot Symphonic Band and Wooster Concert Band, serves as Assistant Director of the Scot Marching Band, and teaches courses in conducting and music education. Previously, he held roles at Capital University Conservatory of Music, Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, Texas A&M University-Commerce, and Monroe-Woodbury High School.

- Doctor of Musical Arts in Wind Conducting from The University of Texas at Austin
His research and professional work focus on wind band conducting, music pedagogy, and repertoire development. As a guest conductor, he collaborates with professional ensembles and high school honor bands, including annual performances with the Dallas Winds. His arranging work includes acclaimed transcriptions of compositions by Frank Zappa, John Corigliano, and Eric Whitacre, performed at Carnegie Hall and national conventions.
