Jeffrey Broadbent

Jeffrey Broadbent is Professor Emeritus of Sociology at the University of Minnesota with expertise in environmental policy, political networks, and Japanese society. He founded the COMPON project comparing climate change policy networks across 20 countries.

Research Focus: Broadbent examines climate governance through network analysis and social movement theory, with regional emphasis on East Asia. His work connects political sociology with environmental policy formation.
