Jeffrey Bernstein is a Professor of Political Science at Eastern Michigan University (EMU), where he has served since 1997. Holding a B.A. from Washington University and M.A./Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, his expertise spans American politics, public opinion, citizenship education, and the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL). A 2005-06 Carnegie Scholar, Bernstein co-edited Citizenship Across the Curriculum and authored numerous peer-reviewed publications.
