He holds a M.Phil. in System Dynamics from UiB and a B.A. (Hons.) in Global Studies and Political Science from National University of Singapore.
His work bridges social research and system dynamics, particularly through projects like the EU-funded WorldTrans initiative addressing climate model weaknesses. Key research areas include participatory modeling, feedback loop analysis, and the application of system dynamics to health systems, environmental policy, and education reform. Rajah has contributed to over 20 peer-reviewed articles, conference papers, and technical reports, focusing on topics such as adolescent obesity, digital prosthetics impact, and climate-human feedback dynamics. He teaches courses on system dynamics modeling and has led workshops on systems thinking for global audiences.
His academic contributions span participatory modeling frameworks, integrated assessment models (e.g., FRIDA), and stakeholder engagement methodologies. Rajah actively collaborates on projects like SYNAGRI, exploring food system transformations through interdisciplinary systems approaches.
