Jeff Epstein is a Lecturer in Management at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. He previously served as a lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Engineering (2014-2023). Epstein holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics & Political Science from Yale College.
His research focuses on B2B software, marketplaces, and artificial intelligence applications in business contexts.
He received the Arjay Miller Scholarship in 1979. Epstein teaches FINANCE 582: Chief Financial Officer Leadership and maintains active industry involvement as Operating Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, with prior executive roles including CFO of Oracle.
