Jeff Bush is an adjunct instructor of jazz studies at the Mary Pappert School of Music, Duquesne University. A trombonist specializing in jazz, he holds degrees from Youngstown State University (B.M.) and Manhattan School of Music (M.M.).
His career includes performances with renowned ensembles like The Cleveland Jazz Orchestra, Count Basie Orchestra, and Harry Connick Jr.'s big band, alongside artists such as Benny Golson and Ahmad Jamal. He has recorded over 30 albums and led his own studio project Ain't So Bad To Swing.
Bush has received the Frank Rosolino Memorial Scholarship and performed globally, including for Pope Benedict XVI. His teaching spans clinics at Youngstown State University and West Virginia Wesleyan College, with a focus on jazz pedagogy and brass techniques.
