Jean Pierre Dumazert is a Research Active Faculty and Associate Professor at Excelia Business School in La Rochelle, France. He serves as Director of the Human Resources and Management Department since 2011 and has held leadership roles in diversity initiatives, including Head of the Diversity & Talent Chair (2014-2018) and as a key contact for diversity issues since 2019. He is affiliated with the French Foundation for Management Education (FNEGE) and the French Association of Diversity Managers (AFMD).
His research focuses on Management, Leadership, and Human Resources, with specific emphasis on organizational behavior in virtual environments, diversity management, knowledge sharing, and ethical dilemmas in corporate settings. His 15 most recent publications address topics spanning operational risk in information systems, shared leadership dynamics, knowledge hiding behaviors, intersectional gender transitions, and religious diversity in secular organizations.
