Jayaum Booth

Jayaum Booth is Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at University of Maryland School of Medicine. His research examines mucosal immune responses to pathogens and vaccines, focusing on:

• Tissue-resident memory T cells
• Oral vaccine immunology
• Host-pathogen interactions

Work integrates human tissue studies with translational approaches for infectious disease interventions. Current projects investigate age-specific immunity to Helicobacter pylori and typhoid vaccines.
