Anton M. Sholukh

Anton M. Sholukh, PhD, serves as a Principal Staff Scientist in the Corey Lab within the Infectious Disease Sciences Program of the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. His work centers on dissecting humoral immunity to HSV-2 and vaccine candidates, with emphasis on tissue-resident B-cell dynamics.

Research Focus: Dr. Sholukh investigates antibody isotype functions in viral protection, tissue-homing mechanisms of B cells, T-cell modulation of B-cell response quality, and non-vaccine strategies for mucosal viral prevention. His current projects analyze HSV-2 immune responses and tissue B-cell roles in infection, bridging fundamental immunology with translational vaccine design. This work positions him at the forefront of mucosal virology and adaptive immunity research.
