Professor Jayant Ganguli is a faculty member in the Department of Economics at the University of Essex, holding the rank of Professor. His roles include Deputy Head of Department (2021-2024), Co-Deputy Head (2020-2021), and Graduate Director for PhD programs (2016-2019). He leads the Microeconomics research cluster focusing on ambiguity, behavioral economics, and financial markets. His research explores uncertainty attitudes, information asymmetry, and their implications for households and financial systems.
