Dr Jay Zenkic is a Senior Lecturer at Deakin University's Faculty of Business and Law/Deakin Business School, joining in 2022 after completing his PhD at the University of Melbourne in 2021. His academic focus centers on consumer wellbeing and psychological aspects of financial behavior.

Research interests span consumer psychology, money perception, and fairness evaluation, with particular attention to:

Recent publications examine physical currency effects, denomination psychology, and fairness criteria in resource allocation. His work has received recognition through multiple awards including the prestigious ACR/Sheth Dissertation Award and BESH Doctoral Research Award.
