Jason Emami

Jason Emami is an Adjunct Professorial Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy and Religion at American University's College of Arts and Sciences. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics (2012) and a Master's Degree in Philosophy (2014).

His teaching and research focus on political philosophy, moral philosophy, and the history of philosophy with specialization in Plato, Kant, existentialism, and 20th-century German philosophy. Recently expanding into social ontology and Confucian ethics, he employs specifications grading and emphasizes growth mindset development in pedagogy.
