Jason Elliott is a Senior Lecturer and Associate Head of School at Ulster University's School of Law, based at the Belfast campus. A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, he holds an LLB from Ulster University (2012), a Postgraduate Diploma from Queen's University Belfast (2013), and an LLM with distinction in International Commercial Law with ADR from Ulster (2019). Called to the Bar of Northern Ireland in 2013, he practiced law for eight years alongside teaching commitments.
His research focuses on employment law practice, alternative dispute resolution, equity and trusts, and legal education. He coordinates undergraduate modules in Equity and Trusts and Advocacy while leading curriculum development and student support strategies across the law school.
Elliott has been recognized for educational leadership through appointments as External Examiner at Leeds Beckett University and University of Huddersfield. He serves on the Board of Governors at The Wallace High School and participates in university-wide committees on academic provision.
