Jason D’Antonio is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University and Director of the Health Professions Program. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy and Environmental, Population, & Organismic Biology from the University of Colorado, a Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and a postdoctoral appointment at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. His teaching focuses on courses such as Human Physiology, Cancer Biology, and Immunology, emphasizing the integration of cellular and molecular concepts into human health contexts. As Director of the Health Professions Program (HPP), he oversees advising for students pursuing careers in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, and biomedical sciences.
