Dr. Jason Blahuta is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at Lakehead University, with a cross-appointment as a Faculty Advisor for Philosophy. His research and teaching focus on social and political thought, Asian philosophy, applied ethics, and critical thinking.

Dr. Blahuta's research spans classical political philosophy (e.g., Machiavelli, Schopenhauer), ethical frameworks in biomedical, environmental, and business contexts, and theoretical explorations of value pluralism and the philosophy of time. He specializes in integrating historical and contemporary perspectives into accessible pedagogical practices.
