Janis Waldheim

Janis Waldheim is a Tutor and M.Sc. student at the Department of Earth Sciences, Institute of Geological Sciences, Freie Universität Berlin. They are affiliated with the Geochemistry Group, focusing on research involving geochemical processes and Earth's material composition.

Education: Holds a B.Sc. and is pursuing an M.Sc. in Geochemistry. Research activities include participation in the ERC Advanced Grant project 'DEVENDRA' (2023–present), investigating vegetation and erosion effects on basalt/carbonate weathering. Previously contributed to studies on Earth's building blocks via isotope measurements published in 2022.

Research Interests: Specializes in isotope geochemistry, denudation rate approaches, and the interplay between biological and geological systems.
