Janine Jones

Janine Jones is a Professor and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the University of Washington's College of Education, specializing in School Psychology. She holds a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin. Her research focuses on multiculturalism, culturally responsive interventions, and equity in education, particularly for students of color. Jones is committed to bridging research and practice in school mental health, emphasizing resilience and social-emotional well-being. She has received numerous awards, including the NASP Leader of the Year (2011) and the 2023 Legend in School Psychology honor.
