Janice Stewart

Janice Stewart serves as Professor of Teaching and Deputy Provost at the University of British Columbia, affiliated with the Institute for Gender, Race, Sexuality and Social Justice within the Faculty of Arts. She holds a PhD in English Literature from McGill University (2001) and teaches across both the Gender, Race, Sexuality and Social Justice program and the Critical Studies in Sexuality program.

Dr. Stewart's educational background includes a doctorate from McGill University in 2001, with specialization in English Literature. Her academic journey has led her to develop innovative approaches at the intersection of pedagogy, technology, and social justice.
